I know I was supposed to post the next part yesterday but I got caught up in life and forgot (in other words: I was too lazy to sit down and write it) to post it! Sorry about that guys! Next time I will try to be better about that!

He paused for a second walk to the door of the room and barked out some orders. In a minute, a man wearing another leather jacket walked in with a tray. The tray had a clear glass of water and a bowl of mush (I hoped it was oatmeal). I had been so engrossed in the story that I did not realize I was terribly thirsty and hungry.
When the tray was placed down in front of me the “waiter” untied my hands. I quickly gulped down the water and picked up a spoon. I took a bite. It was not oatmeal! Although it was the worst tasting food I had ever had, I was starving.
Now that I had eaten, the panic and the memories came back. No one was in the room. I took a better look around the place looking for a place to escape. I could see a small window high up on the wall beside me, but it was too small to climb through. Behind me and to my right there was nothing on the hard stone wall.
Then I remembered my hands. The waiter hadn’t come back and my hands were still untied. Quickly and quietly I reached down to my feet and tried to untie the knots, but they were too tight for human hands. I remembered my pocketknife that I hid in my suit for safety reasons. I reached into my pocket but it was empty. They had taken it. I looked around for anything on the floor. There was nothing. I reached down and felt under my bed.
“Ouch!” I cried out but quickly caught myself because I didn’t want anyone to hear. Something had cut my hand. I pulled my hand up and saw blood trickling down my hand. I swiftly tore of a piece of my shirt and wrapped my hand in it. What had cut me? What could be that sharp underneath the bed? I reached down again this time more cautiously and felt around until I found the blade. I ran my fingers across it until I felt a handle. I pulled down and it surprisingly came off quite easily. I held it up in front of me. It was a knife. Who would hide a knife under a bed like this? I didn’t have time to think.
I sat up and started cutting the ropes. I heard footsteps coming down the hall towards my room. I lay back down and hid the knife in my back pocket trying to look inconspicuous.
“I’m sorry if I didn’t introduce myself before. I’m Zack…” The man said
“What have you done to the colony’s generator?” I asked without even thinking about what he had just said.
“If you must know, I enhanced the power of it.” He replied as he took a bite of a delicious looking pastry he had been holding.
“I thought you didn’t care about the colony though!” I said, confused.
“I don’t care about the people of your colony. I want to overtake it!”

“Boom!” I awoke in an instant. I found myself in a darkly lit room with no furniture. I was on a rock solid bed and was tied down firmly with rope so I couldn’t move my hands. Just then the same man who had shot me strolled into the room.
“I see you have awakened,” he said with an evil grin on his face.
“Who are you? What have you done to the colony’s generator?” My mind raced with questions.
“I am project 43.”
“You… You…” I couldn't talk; I was dumbfounded. Years ago the colonies had sent out many groups of people to different planets to investigate and see if they were suited for life. The colonies had sent out Projects 41, 42, and 43 all in one month. All of a sudden, all three of them had lost connection. The president of the colonies had sent his son up along with 25 others in Project 43’s spacecraft. His son was reluctant to go, but his farther forced him. When the space crafts lost connection the president was outraged and blamed anyone he could for this incident. Soon after he became insane and a new president was elected.
After that the whole colony thought that those three space crafts were gone forever. So how could he be from project 43? And if so, were the other two projects still alive?
“I know you might find it hard to believe,” He began, “but after we lost connection, we decided to land on the nearest planet, Earth. Everyone on board was nervous; they knew that Earth had been evacuated because of war hundreds of years before. None of the radar could reach Earth’s surface to see if it was inhabitable because the dome of energy that was surrounding Earth interfered with the radar. The slow descent was difficult, and we had many near misses with boulders while searching for a safe spot to land.

“Once we finally landed, I and a group of 4 other people suited up and headed off the spacecraft to the deserted planet of Earth.”

I guess it's already been a week! Time flies fast doesn't it? I really enjoyed writing this part because of the action and the cliff hanger! I didn't write much this week, but I'm hoping to next! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this part and as always, please come back for the next part!!

After following the tracks for half an hour, I found they curved around to the back of the generator. Someone’s trying to destroy the generator! If he succeeds the whole colony will fail and be helpless against the asteroid showers! I thought to myself. I quickly but cautiously approached the door, pulling out my blaster. I slowly opened the door and went inside.
I wandered around for a while, always alert and ready to fight, but I saw no-one until I reached the core of the generator. The room was normally immensely cold because the generator would get too hot and explode if it weren't cooled down. As soon as I stepped into the core I could immediately tell that is was warmer than usual. On the ceiling, wires and pipes were being cut and torn out by two men. They wore leather outfits which were very rare and expensive in the colony.
But where were their suits? No one could go out of the colonies without special gear yet; the mission had not been completely carried out.
“What are you doing?” I yelled, pointing my blaster at them and hoping I sounded more confident than I was.
They jerked their heads down at me and pulled out blasters quicker than you can say zorg and shot a blast. I dived and it barely missed my head. I ran for the door, but a shot hit my leg. I yelped in pain but staggered to the door of the generator. I had to warn the colony! But it was too late. One of the men jumped down off the ceiling and came up behind me, pointing his gun at my head. I heard the gun go off and hit the ground. Everything went black….
